ABOUT timeSLOTS
An average session for an established client runs around 60 minutes. If this is your horse’s first appointment with me, please select ‘Initial Saddle Fitting Session’ or ‘Initial Massage Session’ so my booking system will have you fill out the appropriate intake form and the calendar will give us a bit more time. Appointment slots are booked per horse, so multiple horses will require booking multiple slots.
Sometimes I need to bump appointments around to accommodate multiple clients in the same area or to give me travel time. If that is necessary, I will be sure to reach out by text to make sure it works for you.
Traveling to clients is an imperfect science, and I generally try to text you as I’m heading out so you know I’m on my way, and try to communicate if I think I’m going to be later than 15 minutes to our appointment. I appreciate your understanding!
I regret that I’m currently unable to offer Equine Services in Canada at this time due to immigration status.
Payment
Online bookings are required to pay with credit card in advance. For bookings made outside of the online system, I accept Cash, Check, Credit Card or Venmo at time-of-service. Many regular clients prefer to purchase prepaid packages which save them from $10 - $20 dollars per session— a savings of $30 - $200 dollars per package. RESCHEDULING & Cancellations
Life happens! If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please use the handy link sent to you in the confirmation email of the appointment. For well-mannered horses on a property that I’m already familiar with, I may be willing to see your horse even if you can’t make it, and follow up with a full report for you afterward.
24-hours notice is required for cancellations without financial consequences. If you need to cancel within 24-hours, please text me, and please be aware that you will be responsible for paying the session fee and any associated travel costs.
The cost of service includes travel/barn fees within a 25 mile radius of Waitsburg, WA. For bookings further afield, travel reimbursement (a.k.a. barn fees) are charged at the standard business reimbursement rate of 56¢ per mile round-trip.
Travel charges can be divided between multiple clients in the same location or area. These charges are waived when you pre-book for events and shows that I already have on my calendar. I will reach out in advance of your appointment to let you know in cases where there will be travel costs.
If flights, hotels, and car rentals are needed, I generally fly out of ALW (Walla Walla) and do require luggage for my gear. While extra knee-room and little luxuries are always appreciated, I do try to keep travel economical for my clients. I can be booked into any clean safe hotel in proximity to the work, and do fine in an economy rental car.
Travel costs and appointment fees are paid in advance at time of booking.
